Letter for Christchurch

Dear Christchurch
I hope you alright.I am felling so sad about the people that have passed away.I am sorry for the lost city.Carry on dont lose faith.Christchurch you are amazing.Our blessings and prayers are with you.From Kashya

Christchurch earthquake

On Tuesday 22nd of February, Christchurch was shaken by a 6.3 magnitude earthquake ,at 5km deep, at 12.51pm. Many buildings collapsed and lots of people were trapped under the buildings.Cars have been smashed and grounds crumbled.

Unfortunately, many people have died and were injured. Some people were rescued and had to go to hospital. Crushed buildings was the main cause of death. 75 people have died so far.

Due to damage to homes across the city, some people in Christchurch slept in their cars overnight. Others might have slept at the park or on a small field in makeshift accommodation.

There was lots of destruction in the city of Christchurch. Lots of buildings crushed, cars destroyed and lots of damage. Dust and bricks were everywhere, choking the city.

Cinderella

Cinderella's fairy god mother made her a magnificent blue dress with her magic wand.
The busy bustling mice sowed Cinderella a wonderful pink dress.
Cinderella and her prince charming danced the under the bold band beautiful full moon.

Baseball

On Thursday after lunch we played baseball.First we learnt how to play and we got in to teams.Then we played I had to catch the ball catching the ball was fun because we had to run around a lot.It was my turn to hit the ball.I did not hit the ball far!But had to run I nearly got thought but I got touched by the ball. we stopped playing because the bell was about to ring.

Music with mr J

On Thursday we went to the music room. First we sang Drums of the island then we sang Yellow submarine .After that Mr J told us he would teach us a new song. We got most of the words right then Mr Burt told us to be quiet because they were filming in the next room. So we went outside and sang some more songs. After we sang we went back inside and played a game called ghost.It was fun.

Netbook day

This morning room 13 got their netbooks. I was so exited and I could not wait.

First Mrs Burt talked to us and she gave usa paper to sign. Then she talked about using the netbooks responsibly.
After a while Mr Burt talked to us and he said to look after the screen and the keyboard.

Finally the teachers gave us the box with the netbook in it. Then Mrs Burt showed us how to
open the box. After that we turned on the netbook.

On the netbook I played games on it but then my netbook battery died and I had to close my netbook.
I had fun on my netbook.

Im Getting my Netbook

On Friday room 13 are getting their netbooks.
When I get my netbook I am going to have lots of fun.
I am so excited.
I cant wait to get my net book.
