My First Christmas In Perth

Waking up to the sound of my cousin screaming " its Christmas " was as painful as nails across a chalk board. I stormed out of  bed, but my rage came to a halt when I saw the Christmastime tree abundantly surrounded by presents.

There was a debate over who was going to be Santa. My uncle won. So all the family gathered excitedly around the Christmas tree waiting for their presents. He handed out some presents, when he had finally got to one of mine I was filled with excitement. Wondering what it was I quickly unwrapped it. It was the present I was waiting for, a laptop !

After unwrapping our presents and eating our delicious lunch. We all enjoyed a refreshing swim in the pool, while playing games and making a huge whirlpool. We also had a competition to see who could bomb the highest, sadly I lost.

Everyone was over joyed with their presents and the time they shared together. But just remember that the true meaning of Christmas, is not about the presents but about the birth of Jesus Christ.

  1. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I do love hearing how you are getting on Kasyha.
So lovely to see photos of you, your brothers and your lovely cousins. Say hi to Khairo from me.
Your writing is so good. You've put together some great sentences and used some flash words too. That Perth school must be pretty good!
So now that you have a laptop of your own are you going to be doing more blog posts? I would just love to read more of what you are getting up to.
I hope that you enjoy the rest of your holiday - it certainly started out well.
    Miss you lots
    Miss King
