Camera
In 1886 a man in France took the very first snapshot/photograph. He used a metal plate covered with bitumen.
12 Years later a man named Jacques Daguerre improved the idea of a camera by using a copper plate coated with silver, instead of a metal plate covered with bitumen. Jacques Daguerre made his camera’s lens work like a telescope.
In 1888 George Eastman made a small hand held camera, using celluloid film. In 1990 a box camera called “ the Brownie “ was invented by the Eastman Kodak Company. From 1920 -1940 better cameras were made with expensive lens in Germany. Now most cameras are made in Japan.
